Northern Ireland puts Perfect Record on the Line
In a group featuring heavyweights Germany and the Netherlands, Northern Ireland finds itself as the somewhat surprising leader of Group C at the halfway point of its qualifying campaign, with 12 points from four games.
However, a quick look at the team's results show that all four of those wins came at the expense of Estonia and Belarus. So with home-and-away games to come against both Germany and the Dutch, if Michael O'Neill's team has any chance to qualify for a second straight Euros, now is the time to stand up and be counted.

And after Germany lost at home to the Netherlands on Friday, the Northern Ireland manager is fully aware that the 2014 World Cup winners will have a reaction, “and we have to be ready for that reaction.”
Germany has certainly had a bit of recent history with Northern Ireland, having played competitive games against them at both Euro 2016 and in qualifying for last year's World Cup, winning all three of those contests. Indeed, in 17 meetings, competing as both Germany and West Germany, Northern Ireland has only won twice, with the German side emerging victorious on 11 occasions.

Add to that the fact that Germany has never lost back-to-back qualifying games and the Germans will be confident of a result. In addition, Serge Gnabry will be looking to continue his scorching-hot start to his tenure with the national team, having scored eight goals in nine appearances for his country.
Prediction: Germany to win -1.5 (-115)
Poland vs Austria Euro 2020 Odds
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total | Odds to win Group G at Bovada |
---|---|---|---|---|
Poland | -0.5 (+105) | +110 | O 2.5 (+115) | -714 |
Austria | +0.5 (-130) | +245 | U 2.5 (-140) | +450 |
Draw | N/A | +230 | N/A | N/A |
Poland Looks to Double Up on Austria
Having kicked off its qualifying campaign with a 1-0 away in Vienna, Poland will be hopeful of pushing itself one step closer to automatic qualification for Euro 2020 with another victory here. Indeed, it looked to be well on course for that with a perfect record after four games before Friday's 2-0 away loss to Slovenia took a bit of the sheen off its hot start.
But defensively the team has been solid, posting four consecutive clean sheets before that loss, which will give Poland confidence even against an Austrian team that put six past Latvia on Friday.
With 13 goals in five games thus far, the Austrians have averaged 2.6 goals per game, but the chief threat has been Marko Arnautovic, who has scored a brace in three of the five games. His six goals has him currently joint-second in Euro 2020 qualifying.
Having seen Poland stumble once, Austria will be keenly aware that another win on Monday will put it top of Group G on goal difference. However, the two teams have only played each other 10 times through the years, and Austria has only managed to win on three occasions, the last of which occurred 25 years ago in a friendly.
Prediction: Poland-Austria draw (+230)
Scotland vs Belgium Euro 2020 Odds
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total | Odds to win Group I at Bovada |
---|---|---|---|---|
Scotland | +1.0 (+120) | +650 | O 2.5 (-115) | -714 |
Belgium | +1.0 (-145) | -235 | U 2.5 (-105) | +450 |
Draw | N/A | +345 | N/A | N/A |
Belgium Aims to Make it Six for Six
With five wins from five games so far, Belgium has shown little hangover from the heartbreak of last year's World Cup semi-final loss to France.
Having scored 15 goals to just one against, the Red Devils are one of three teams with a perfect record after five games – alongside Italy and Spain – and will be full of confidence having already beaten Scotland back in June when Romelu Lukaku scored a brace, before Kevin De Bruyne added an exclamation mark.
Kevin De Bruyne wrapped it up in injury-time.
Belgium maintain their 100 per cent record in Group I after Romelu Lukaku's double helps them to a 3-0 win over Scotland.

Currently fourth in the group, Scotland's confidence will be anything but high after back-to-back qualifying defeats against first Belgium and then Russia on Friday.

Captain Andrew Robertson has said anything less than a win against Belgium will all but end Scotland's hopes of qualifying, but facing off against a team 47 places above it in the world rankings, and against a team it hasn't beaten in 32 years, makes for a tough sell.
Prediction: Belgium +1 (-145)
