Breazeale, who has been beaten by Wilder’s rival world champion Anthony Joshua, is listed at +550.
The 33-year-old Wilder is looking to return to winning ways after being involved in a split decision draw against Britain’s former WBA and IBF champion Tyson Fury in Los Angeles last December.
It was the first time he had failed to win as a professional. He will be eager to make a statement against Breazeale, who is also 33.

A hopeful wager on mandatory challenger Breazeale may be worthwhile, if only on the basis that the heavyweight division can be erratic and unpredictable. And that there is bad blood between the two men.

Breazeale Has a Puncher's Chance
Every heavyweight has at least a puncher’s chance, although Breazeale is likely to be swarmed and overwhelmed by Wilder’s all-action style.
Breazeale has the more solid physique and could be worth a risk to win in the later rounds.
Breazeale has the more solid physique and could be worth a risk to win in the later rounds. But Wilder usually knows how to find a way to win when dragged deep into a fight.
Breazeale has scored 18 knockouts in his 20 wins but against a largely lower standard of opponent than those previously destroyed by Wilder.
Breazeale and Wilder are matched at 6'7″ tall, but the champion has a two inch reach advantage.

However slight, this could be significant because Wilder is known for his big, swinging style and puts his long arms to significant, if ungainly, use.
Wilder’s stunning punching power was in evidence even in the draw against Fury. The British boxer was floored twice in the ninth and 12th rounds but survived.
Breazeale on Three-Win Streak
There have been three straight wins for Breazeale since he failed in his previous challenge for a world title.
He was stopped in the seventh round by Britain’s WBA and IBF belt holder Joshua at the 02 Arena in London in June 2016.

Fight fans have been bitterly disappointed by the failure during the past two years of Wilder and Joshua to agree terms for a unification clash.
Breazeale weighed 256.5 lbs for his last fight. Wilder weighed 212.5 lbs for his meeting with Fury.
Since the defeat by Joshua, Breazeale has overcome Izuagbe Ugonoh with a fifth round knockout, and Eric Molina with an eighth round stoppage before beating Negron.
Breazeale’s last contest was a ninth round stoppage of the 32-year-old Puerto Rican Carlos Negron at the Barclays Center last December. He weighed 256.5 lbs for the fight. Wilder weighed 212.5 lbs for his meeting with Fury.
Breazeale insists his big weight advantage will be a huge factor as he seeks to end Wilder’s reign.

Before the draw with Fury, Wilder stopped Cuban veteran Luis Ortiz in the 10th round.
That followed a first round knockout in November 2017 in a re-match against Bermane Stiverne – the only fighter other than Fury to have taken Wilder the distance in January 2015.
