The unbeaten Chicago Bears are going to get some extra national television exposure Sunday (Oct. 4) when they host the Indianapolis Colts as a 2.5-point underdog at Soldier Field.
CBS has moved the game from 1pm ET into the 4:25pm ET featured timeslot. The move was made after the New England Patriots-at-Kansas City Chiefs game scheduled for that time was postponed because of positive COVID-19 tests on both sides.
The Bears (3-0) are one of seven unbeaten teams remaining in the NFL. The Colts (2-1) have won two games in a row. Both are 2-1 against the spread.
Here is a look at the Colts vs Bears odds:

|Indianapolis Colts||-146||-2.5 (-120)||Over 43 (-110)|
|Chicago Bears||+124||+2.5 (+100)||Under 43 (-110)|

Foles Gets the Start
Veteran quarterback Nick Foles will make his first start for the Bears.
Foles relieved Mitchell Trubisky in the third quarter and rallied the Bears to a 30-26 road victory over the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday (Set. 27). Foles threw three touchdowns in the last 6:20.

The Bears acquired Foles from the Jacksonville Jaguars in an offseason trade. He competed with Trubisky for the starting job in training camp.
Coach Matt Nagy decided to make the switch after Trubisky completed just 59.3% of his passes for 560 yards and six touchdowns with three interceptions in 2.5 games.
Foles has had his ups and downs during a nine-year career spent with six teams. However, he was also the MVP of Super Bowl 52 when he led the Philadelphia Eagles over the New England Patriots.
Colts Defense Leads NFL
Foles will be challenged by the Colts defense, which has given up the fewest points and total yards in the NFL this season.
Opponents are averaging just 15.0 points and 225.3 yards a game. The Colts also top the lead in pass defense, giving up an average of 132.0 yards.
Last week, the Colts returned two interceptions for touchdowns as they routed Sam Darnold and the New York Jets 36-7 at home.

The Colts have also posted safeties in back-to-back games for the first time since 1960. In all, the defense has scored 16 points in the last two games.
Middle linebacker Darius Leonard has 26 tackles through three games and end Justin Houston has a team-high 2.5 sacks.
Tackle DeForest Buckner has also shined since being acquired from the San Francisco 49ers in an offseason trade. He has notched 24 tackles and a team-high five quarterback hits.
Tight Ends Galore
The Colts are thin at wide receiver after rookie Michael Pittman Jr. was placed on injured reserve earlier this week. He underwent surgery on his right calf.
Parris Campbell is also on IR because of a left knee injury.
The Colts did get tight end Trey Burton off IR after he missed the first three games with a calf injury. Signed as a free agent in the spring, Burton combines with Mo-Alie Cox and Jack Doyle to give Indianapolis one of the deepest tight end groups in the league for new quarterback Philip Rivers.
Mo Alie-Cox’s last two games:
• 8 receptions on 9 targets
• 161 yards
• 2 TDs
• 20.1 yards per reception

Speaking of tight ends, veteran Jimmy Graham seems to have found new life in his first season with the Bears. Graham caught two touchdown passes last week against the Falcons.
It was the first multi-score game for Graham since 2017 with the Seattle Seahawks. He had just three TD receptions last season with the Green Bay Packers.
These team last met in 2016 at Indianapolis with the Colts winning 29-23 as 3.5-point favorites. Chuck Pagano was the Colts’ coach then and is now the Bears’ defensive coordinator.
Look for Pagano to come out on the right side again in a close game with the change of quarterbacks giving the Bears a lift.
The Pick: Bears +2.5 (+100)
