Yggdrasil Franchises Content, Tools to Asia-Focused Flow Gaming
Yggdrasil has recently signed a Franchise IP licensing agreement with Asia-focused online casino content supplier Flow Gaming to help it take greater control of its operation and optimize its product offering.
Under the recently formed partnership, Flow Gaming will be provided with access to Yggdrasil’s end-to-end development process, the YG platform including its newest GATI (Game Adaptation Tools & Interface) product, its game promotional tools via BOOST, and to games created by YG Masters partners.
Yggdrasil, a renowned games provider, launched its Publishing arm early this year as part of the company’s new strategic approach.
The Publishing division aims to offer Yggdrasil clients “the key to its kingdom” in the form of tools and solutions that companies need to build and manage a complete B2B gaming business.
Through its new arm, Yggdrasil franchises its entire business. Yggdrasil Publishing offers three core value propositions: YG Franchise for platform IP licensing, YG Masters for game development and distribution, and YG Game IP for game IP licensing.
Yggdrasil Publishing clients can franchise any or all elements of Yggdrasil’s online casino gaming eco-system. The company’s content library and supporting technology and functions have been live in some of the largest regulated iGaming markets in the world.
Flow Gaming’s Partnership
As an Yggdrasil Franchisee, Flow Gaming will be able to source its own game content for distribution across Asia and cross-collaborate with other Franchisees around the world.
Flow Gaming will thus be able to bolster its territorial reach and drive incremental revenue opportunities.
Flow Gaming is among the leaders in the delivery of distributed casino technology and next-generation gaming services across Asia. The supplier’s platform provides a suite of video slots paired with advanced back office and reporting tool.
Commenting on becoming an Yggdrasil Franchisee, Flow Gaming COO Peter van Tuyl said that Yggdrasil is a company they have had their eye on for a while and that they have “fantastic content that will do well” with their Asian customer base.
Mr. Van Tuyl went on that with Flow Gaming’s marketing knowledge and tuned infrastructure for Asian distribution, “this will be a very good concept for both parties.”
Of Yggdrasil Franchise, Mr. Van Tuyl said that it represents “a new and very clever approach to on-boarding their content and technology” and that being a Franchisee would help them optimize and enhance their business strategy.
Björn Krantz, Head of Publishing at Yggdrasil, said that with their Yggdrasil Franchise offering, Flow Gaming will be able to provide its partners across Asia with a “blueprint of what’s made Yggdrasil one of the most innovative and successful iGaming suppliers in the industry.”
