Videoslots to Enter Italian Online Gambling Market

Online casino operator Videoslots today announced that it has secured the necessary regulatory approval to enter Italy’s regulated online gambling market and further expand its European footprint.
The popular casino brand that boasts a hefty range of more than 3,600 online slots and table games by some of the world’s leading iGaming content providers will soon be able to venture into Italy, which is one of Europe’s largest regulated and most rapidly growing markets.
News about Videoslots being granted a license from the Italian gambling regulator, Agenzia delle dogane e dei Monopoli (ADM), emerge a couple of weeks after the operator entered the Danish regulated market.
The Danish Gambling Authority issued a license to Videoslots in early September. The major iGaming brand celebrated its debut in Denmark about a month later in the first week of October. Following its entry into the Danish online casino space, local players now have access to Videoslots’ wide portfolio that includes titles by the likes of Yggdrasil Gaming, NetEnt, Thunderkick, and Quickspin, among other content studios.
Videoslots said in a statement from earlier today that it is set to go live in Italy very soon.
Videoslots was founded in 2011. The online casino boasts a large variety of games and unique gaming experience that is enhanced by innovative omni-channel concepts such as Clash of Spins, Battle of Slots, and Wheel of Jackpots.
Italian Market Entry
Of their anticipated entry into Italy, Videoslots CEO Alexander Stevendahl said today that they are “always challenging ourselves to become bigger and better and this Italian license will open even more doors for us.”
The gambling executive added that as Videoslots has been given the nod to enter a range of important jurisdictions within Europe, they “can’t wait to start working in Italy, a really exciting regulated market with a lot of potential.”
Aside from Italy and Denmark, Videoslots marked its debut in another important market earlier this year. Following the reorganization of the Swedish online gambling market, the operator was among the early entries into Sweden’s lucrative iGaming space after being granted a license by the local regulator in December 2018.
Last week, Videoslots announced that it has boosted its offering by harnessing the Jackpot Network of online gaming content supplier Red Tiger. The move enabled the casino operator to treat its players to daily and hourly jackpots.
Videoslots first teamed up with Red Tiger in the fall of 2016 when it added a number of the provider’s titles to its offering. Under their recently extended partnership, the online casino has launched Red Tiger’s jackpot products across a selection of games by the major content supplier.
Of the latest addition to its offering, Videoslots said that its team “thrives on innovation and player-friendly tools, so we are delighted to be working with the like-minded Red Tiger.”
