Scientific Games Marks Pennsylvania iGaming Debut with Rush Street

Rush Street Interactive, the digital gaming division of regional casino operator Rush Street Gaming, has extended an existing online casino content supply deal with gambling software provider Scientific Games to now cover Pennsylvania.
Under the terms of the recently expanded deal, Rush Street’s BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse online gaming brands have become the first to launch Scientific Games gaming titles in the regulated iGaming market of the Keystone State.
The selection of games that have gone live with BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse include 88 Fortunes, which has cemented itself as the most popular online slot title on the PlaySugarHouse.com casino site in New Jersey. The game has also long been a player favorite at Rush Street’s Rivers Casinos in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
88 Fortunes arrived in Pennsylvania with beautiful Asian theme and exciting bonus features. The game has been a hit with New Jersey online casino players thanks to the plethora of winning opportunities it offers.
The game’s Fu Bat Jackpot feature has four progressive jackpot levels, with a Grand Jackpot being the highest one. A free games mode that can be retriggered is another exciting feature that contributes to 88 Fortunes’ popularity in the New Jersey market and beyond.
Other Scientific Games that have recently been added to Rush Street’s two Pennsylvania-facing iGaming markets include Spartacus, Starmania, and Mad Mad Monkey.
Proud to Collaborate Together
Of their partnership with Scientific Games, Rush Street Interactive President Richard Schwartz said that they are excited to team up with the gambling technology giant and be the first online operator in Pennsylvania to bring Scientific Games’ “top quality and well-known casino games to our players.”
Mr. Schwartz also noted that 88 Fortunes is already a hit with their New Jersey players out of more than 550 slot titles available on the PlaySugarHouse website and that they expect players from the Keystone State to get equally excited about it.
Bob Hays, VP Commercial, North America for Scientific Games, commented that they are proud to be close partners with Rush Street Interactive as they collaborate together to “grow the exciting online casino category in the US market.”
Pennsylvania legalized online casino-style gaming in the fall of 2017. Its first iGaming operations opened their virtual doors in July 2019 and Rush Street was among the first to launch online gaming services in the nascent market.
The operator was the early leader in the newly opened regulated space as its revenue during the first days of regulated iGaming in the Keystone State accounted for around a half of the overall revenue figure, according to data from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
