The company said it will now have full control over its own technology development and delivery schedule. Push Gaming received a Game Host license in the UK and a B2B license in Malta in order to secure significant independence over these important aspects of its operations.
In a press release on its official website, the content and software developer and supplier noted that licenses from the two gambling regulators would help it foster innovations across its platform’s key features as well as new in-game mechanics.
The company also believes that the newly obtained regulatory approvals would enhance bespoke support for its operator partners and would provide it with overall system reliance and security at a time when it transitions to a full-fledged B2B provider of content and solutions for the online gambling industry.
News about Push Gaming’s new licenses from the UK Gambling Commission and the MGA emerge just days after the company announced the acquisition of iGaming technology provider GSI (Game Server Integrations).
The deal, financial details of which were not revealed, would enable Push Gaming to successfully scale up delivery of its content directly to operator partners.
BMM Test Labs Partnership
Push Gaming also announced today that it has partnered with BMM Testlabs, the world’s longest running private independent gaming test laboratory, to gain further certifications for its proprietary iGaming platform.
The platform and the content it features have already been certified in accordance with the technical requirements of the gambling regulators of the UK and Malta as well as by the competent bodies in Sweden, Denmark, Latvia, and Estonia. In addition, Push Gaming supports operations that have been approved by Gibraltar, Alderney, and Isle of Man gambling regulatory bodies.
Commenting on their latest milestone, Push Gaming Director of Legal and Compliance Mario Petraglia said that they are delighted to “see our efforts recognized by two of the leading authorities in the online gambling industry” and that they have “managed to set up a bespoke operational toolkit to support our award-winning gaming content in record time.”
The official further noted that their newly licensed platform would propel them from a “boutique game developer to the ranks of a full-service supplier.”
Mr. Petraglia also said that they deem compliance one of the elements standing at the core of Push Gaming’s operations and that they “take great pride in spearheading the development of responsible gaming products.”
Push Gaming is set to showcase its entire portfolio at next week’s ICE London at Stand N6-234.
