Push Gaming Acquires GSI as It Seeks to Scale Up Content Delivery

[ad_1]
Casino games developer Push Gaming today announced that it has agreed to acquire online gambling technology provider GSI (Game Server Integrations).
The deal will enable Push Gaming to successfully scale up delivery of its content directly to operator partners.
GSI was co-founded by a duo of industry veterans who have extensive experience in building scalable technology for regulated iGaming markets. The company’s catalog of products and services includes the Hive remote gaming platform and the Mesh content aggregation platform, among others.
Through the acquisition of GSI, Push Gaming will benefit from expanded flexibility and control over its technology as well as the development of platform functionality, game design, and distribution of its offering across the industry.
Push Gaming is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority. The company specializes in the creation of online casino content. Its premium, mobile-optimized HTML5 games are already available with some of the world’s largest gambling operators and across multiple markets.
The company’s new title – Joker Troupe – a 4×3, 10-payline slot with scatters that trigger Blue, Green, and Red Joker features is set to be rolled out soon. Just as the rest of the titles in its suite, this one will feature innovative gameplay and features that can appeal to a wide array of players.
A Real Game Changer
Commenting on the acquisition of GSI, Push Gaming CEO and Co-founder James Marshall said that the deal is a real game changer for them as they seek to become a “key player within the industry.”
Mr. Marshall added the launch of their own proprietary platform will enable them to gain full control of their game development, delivery, and content integration with operators, and that they will also benefit from GSI’s knowledge and experience in the industry as well as a fantastic technical team.
Push Gaming will showcase its entire portfolio for 2020 at the upcoming ICE London at stand N6-234.
Of the acquisition of their company by Push Gaming, GSI Co-founders Paul Beattie and Paul Evison said that this is the perfect way for the online casino games provider to take its delivery to the next level and “take on the big suppliers.”
The two industry veterans added that through the combination of the two teams they will all be able “to improve all aspects of our business, from game creation and design to distribution and operator relationships.”
No financial details about the deal were revealed.
As mentioned above, Push Gaming supplies its games to a number of partners and expects the addition of GSI’s technology to help it grow its client network even more in 2020 and beyond.
