Playson to Agrees to Deliver Slots Range to Romania’s Platinum Casino

Developer of online casino content Playson today announced that it has signed a supply deal with Romania’s Platinum Casino to extend its reach in the country.

The announcement comes shortly after Playson obtained a Class II license for the provision of its range of games in the regulated Romanian market from the local regulator ONJN.

Under the terms of its deal with Platinum Casino, Playson will supply its titles to the online division of the gambling operator. The provider’s top performing games such as the Timeless Fruit Slots series as well as Solar Queen, Mighty Africa, Book of Gold: Classic, and Wild Warriors will thus soon become available to Platinum Casino players.

The deal with the Romanian casino operator came on the heels of several other deals that would enable Playson to expand in Eastern Europe. Last month, the provider announced that it has aligned with Klondaika to deliver its full slots library to the Latvian operator.

Of their latest partnership, Playson Senior Account Manager Christos Zoulianitis said that they are excited to be joining forces with Platinum Casino. The official added that his company is “always striving to enhance our reach in regulated markets, and this is the latest in a string of strategic commercial deals” that has enabled them to continue to expand across regulated Eastern European markets.

Excellent Selection of Slots

Platinum Casino went live in Romania this past May. It is powered by the iGaming platform of Nordic-based provider Finnplay and operates under a Class I license by the Romanian gambling regulator.

Of their upcoming launch of Playson content, Platinum Casino PR Manager Tatiana Grigorescu said that it is their priority to ensure that they are growing their offering “with the latest and greatest games” and that they are thrilled to have signed an agreement with Playson as the provider “continues to produce and excellent selection of market-leading slots.”

Aside from Romania, Playson has also recently landed a deal that would significantly expand its presence in the Italian online gambling market. Under the terms of that deal, a selection of its slots is set to go live with local iGaming and sports betting operator Betflag.

Playson first ventured into the Italian online gaming space in the spring of 2017 through a deal with local operator Microgame. Playson supplied the operator with its full portfolio which then included around 35 online slot games.

Playson currently offers more than 60 HTML5 titles that are available across all channels. The company manages offices in Malta and Ukraine and is licensed by the gambling regulators of the United, Kingdom, Romania, and Malta.

Most recently, Playson revealed that it is now fully certified to provide its content in the newly liberalized Swedish online gambling market after it has successfully completed a security audit and a testing process across its engineering, integration, and product departments.
