Playson Secures Bulgarian Entry with Winbet Deal

Online casino games provider Playson is poised to expand its presence in a new market through its latest commercial deal, the company announced in a press release from earlier today.

The supplier of more than 60 casino titles said today that it has inked a supply agreement with Bulgarian online gambling operator Winbet to provide its content in the local regulated market.

The deal is set to further strengthen Playson’s presence in Eastern Europe and to provide the content supplier with access to the Bulgarian iGaming market. The deal will see Playson roll out its popular Timeless Fruit Slots series as well as games such as Book of Gold: Classic, Solar Queen, and Sakura Dragon with Winbet and offer the operator’s customers access to those and many more.

News about Playson’s upcoming Bulgarian entry came just shortly after the company announced that it has obtained a Class II license by the Romanian gambling authority ONJN to provide its products in the country through partnerships with locally licensed operators.

Of today’s announcement about the company teaming up with Bulgaria’s Winbet, Playson Sales Director Blanka Homor said that they are proud to have joined forces with the operator and to be able to offer their slots to Winbet’s players in Bulgaria and Romania.

Ms. Homor added that the Winbet deal would give them greater access in Eastern Europe. Earlier this month, Playson also announced that it had signed a supply deal with Romanian operator Platinum Casino to supply its content to the locally popular brand.

A Welcome Addition

Of their deal with Playson, Winbet Online Chief Executive Tsvetin Yordanov said that they are delighted to have signed that agreement and to be able to gain access to Playson’s “fantastic portfolio of games”. Mr. Yordanov added that the supplier’s content will be a welcome addition to their existing offering and that they look forward to a long and productive relationship.

Winbet is among the leading online gambling operators in Bulgaria. It currently offers more than 300 games by some of the world’s leading developers and suppliers of content for the online gambling industry.

Through a series of strategic deals, Playson has been able to expand its footprint across multiple regulated markets. In May, leading gambling operator LeoVegas rolled out the supplier’s content to provide it with access to its large customer base.

Last month, Playson aligned with Italy-facing operator Betflag to gain greater exposure across the lucrative Italian market. The provider has also recently extended its footprint in Lithuania through a content deal with one of the leading operators in the Baltic region, TOPshop.

Earlier this month, Playson revealed that it has been fully certified to provide its products in the Swedish online gambling market. Aside from Sweden and Romania, the content supplier is also licensed or certified by the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission to ensure that its games can be accessed in some of the largest regulated markets.
