Pariplay Grows Romanian Foothold with 888casino Deal

Pariplay has recently expanded its existing partnership with 888 Holdings in a move that will see the iGaming operator’s 888casino brand go live in the Romanian market with titles from the major online casino content provider and aggregator.

Under a recently penned agreement between the two companies, Pariplay will provide 888casino with access to a host of its online casino titles and the operator will make these available to its Romanian customer base.

This marks the third and largest deal Pariplay has signed since it was granted a license by the Romanian National Gambling Office (ONJN) in mid-2019. Earlier this year, the iGaming supplier announced a similar content supply deal with Romanian online gambling operator Baumbet.

Pariplay will celebrate the beginning of its new, expanded, partnership with 888 Holdings and its online casino brand by rolling out its Mystic Manor and Dragons of North titles with 888casino in Romania.

The supplier plans to roll out another 13 games shortly after, including its proprietary slot Wolf Riches and branded title Bloodshot: Rising Spirit.

Pariplay was founded in 2010. Since June 2019, the content provider is part of Aspire Global Plc. Pariplay has offices in Israel, Bulgaria, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, and India, and is licensed and regulated by the Gibraltar Gambling Commission, the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission, the Romanian National Gambling Office, and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

It offers the Fusion content aggregation platform, which features thousands of online casino games as well as a suite of back-office conversion and retention tools for iGaming operators. Pariplay also runs the Ignite Studio development program that offers content from its own development studios.

Expanded Collaboration

The launch of Pariplay content with 888casino in Romania marks the extension of an earlier deal signed between the content supplier and the online gambling operator. That previous deal has seen 888casino add Pariplay content across several regulated European markets.

In addition, Pariplay was able to enter the lucrative US iGaming market namely thanks to its collaboration with 888. In November 2019, the online casino supplier announced an agreement to deliver a selection of its content to 888casino in New Jersey. That launch was in line with Pariplay’s strategy to expand in regulated US territories.

Commenting on going live with 888casino in Romania, Pariplay Managing Director Adrian Bailey said that they are confident that teaming up with the major iGaming brand will “significantly strengthen our position in the Romanian market.”

Mr. Bailey went on to say that through the steady release of new content with 888casino, they will provide Romanian players with innovative titles to enjoy, while expanding their reach throughout regulated Europe.

Guy Cohen, SVP, Head of B2C at 888, said that they are “very excited” to expand their partnership with the content provider as its games have already proved to be “welcome additions” to 888casino’s portfolio across several of the operator’s key regulated markets.

Mr. Cohen added that they are set to integrate a selection of Pariplay’s games to 888casino in Romania with more titles planned for the coming months, “ensuring our players maintain a sense of anticipation for more releases down the line.”
