NetEnt Rolls Out Starburst-Branded Community Jackpot
Swedish online casino content supplier NetEnt is looking to up its jackpot game with a new, highly customizable product that is set to be rolled out across an entire family of its most popular games.
In a press release on its official website, major provider announced the upcoming launch of its Starburst PowerPots Community Jackpot System.
The what NetEnt promises is a groundbreaking jackpot concept allows players to collect Starburst tokens across a number of online casino brands and NetEnt games for a chance to claim a share of a community jackpot along with fellow casino players.
Players will play together in order to fill up the PowerPots progress bar and trigger the community pot. Said pot is then divided among any number of players who have participated in its filling. Even those of the players who are offline at the time when the community pot is triggered will get their fair share of it.
All games within the Starburst PowerPots family are set to share the same state and jackpot values, including an additional Major progressive jackpot for extra thrill and enhanced player experience.
NetEnt’s Community Jackpot System is the latest of a series of innovations unveiled by gambling providers ahead of this year’s ICE London event which starts today.
A Highly Customizable Product
NetEnt’s new jackpot concept is designed to provide maximum configurability for online casino operators. Starburst PowerPots offers multiple RTP configurations, contributions, and prize set-ups.
Individual online casinos opting for the product can also tailor the user interface to match their own branding.
Commenting on the latest addition to their portfolio of online gaming solutions, NetEnt Director of Games Bryan Upton said that Starburst PowerPots was created in line with operator partners and their players’ expectations and that the new concept takes cue on all important aspects from “art assets to mechanics.”
Mr. Upton went on that by deploying the Starburst brand they expect to “create massive acquisition while these jackpot mechanics will drive huge engagement for players.”
Here it is important to note that NetEnt is the mastermind behind the hugely popular Starburst online slot, which has turned into a bit of a legend in the iGaming industry since its launch in 2012.
The NetEnt Chief Product Officer noted that its newest product will provide players with the type of community gaming that does not overengineer and overthink what slots fans really want. Mr. Upton is confident that the Starburst PowerPots jackpot system can easily “fit into any operator’s portfolio and deliver any experience, from large life changing prizes to super-fast hitting jackpots.”
