Greentube Leverages Blockchain with CashBet Coin Integration

Greentube has extended its existing partnership with CashBet to add the latter’s CashBet Coin cryptocurrency as an available payment method across its B2C social casino operations.

News about the extended deal came after the successful integration of CashBet Coin with Greentube’s flagship social gaming platform GameTwist.

The newly penned agreement between Greentube and CashBet enables Greentube customers to purchase credits using CashBet Coin across the provider’s collection of more than 400 casino titles, including slots, card games, and bingo.

CashBet is an Oakland, California-based provider of solutions for the online gambling industry. It was founded in 2012 by a team of industry veterans. CashBet is licensed by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission and the UK Gambling Commission. Its CBC cryptocurrency helps it create a complete blockchain ecosystem for online gambling.

As part of its deal with CashBet, Greentube has started integrating CashBet Coin and its underlying blockchain technology throughout its portfolio of games. The move provides Greentube’s players with an alternative way to play its more than 400 titles. The cryptocurrency will be accepted as a payment method in all markets where GameTwist operates. It should be noted that the platform has gained a strong foothold across Europe.

Leveraging Blockchain

Commenting on their deal with CashBet, Greentube CCO Ronald van den Brink said that the CBC integration marks the next stage in their strategy to “leverage blockchain solutions to improve customer experience.”

The company official went on that “the technical excellence, demonstrable utility, and versatility” of the CashBet Coin cryptocurrency was completely in line with Greentube’s vision for cryptocurrency deployment in social gaming. He also pointed out that the first step in their partnership with CashBet was to offer their players a new cryptocurrency payment options, and that they have big plans to “develop CBC further across our social casino brands.”

CashBet Coin President Ed Brennan added that they are rapidly establishing CBC as “the go-to cryptocurrency for iGaming markets” and that their partnership with Greentube and its social casino business “underlines the demand for alternative payment methods […] and proves the advantages our technology can bring to social casino gaming.”

Greentube and CashBet first announced their partnership in the fall of 2018. Other clients of CashBet’s products include Microgaming, WinView Games, Storm Gaming Technology, and Booming Games.

Separately, Greentube has also got into Christmas mood with the recent launch of its latest online slot, Wish Upon a Star. The five-reel game features 243 win ways, Stacked Wilds with Bonus prizes as well as a Free Games feature and a Wish Upon a Star Jackpots feature that offers players the chance to win the Mini, Minor, Maxi, or Major Jackpots, or up to 15x their bet.
