Swedish online gambling group Enlabs AB today announced that it has parted ways with GG Network and that it would soon join Playtech’s iPoker network.

The migration will take place this summer, it also became known from a press release that hit the wire earlier today.

Enlabs is a Swedish online gambling company with more than 200 employees across the group’s offices in Stockholm, Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Malta, Marbella, and Minsk. It is licensed in multiple jurisdictions and online poker is just one of the online gaming products it offers to its players.

Enlabs said that by joining Playtech’s iPoker network, it expects to strengthen its position as a leading provider of online poker services in the Baltics.

As mentioned above, Enlabs previously delivered poker offering through the GG Network. Formed in 2014, GG Network was initially focused on the Asian market, but has over the years expanded globally. It is currently one of the leading poker networks.

Enlabs has not said why it has decided to change its poker provider and opt for Playtech’s product.

The Swedish company’s flagship brands Optibet and Bestpoker will soon begin offering online poker via the iPoker network. It is still unknown when exactly the migration is expected to be completed, but Enlabs players can expect this to happen at some point this summer.

Offering “Stable and High Quality Products”

Commenting on their decision to migrate to iPoker, Enlabs Head of Poker Maskims Gorbacs said that they want to always be able to offer their players “stable and high quality products” and that with Playtech’s poker network, they can offer “a modern poker experience for all types of players.”

Mr. Gorbacs went on that they are confident iPoker’s liquidity and features will provide their players with access to “an even better gaming experience than before.”

Enlabs CEO and President George Ustinov added that they are excited to partner up with an established provider that offers “world-leading entertainment” at a time when poker is experiencing a rebirth.

Mr. Ustinov also pointed out that iPoker is a product that delivers a fair, safe, and entertaining online poker experience for both hobby players and professionals and that it brings together “well-regarded regulated operators, focusing on responsible gaming and player protection.”

As part of the recent partnership between Enlabs and Playtech, the operator will also be able to add the provider’s casino and live casino products to its existing offering.

The online poker world has seen a lot of operator migrations lately as Microgaming is preparing to shut down MPN for good. One of the oldest online poker networks is set to close tomorrow, May 19.

Playtech’s iPoker is about to welcome or has already welcomed several of the operators that have previously hosted their poker operations on Microgaming’s network. One such operator was Red Star Poker, which announced its migration to iPoker last fall.
