Betsoft Marks Colombian Entry with Rivalo Supply Deal
Online casino content provider Betsoft Gaming has penned a supply deal with Rivalo to deliver its games portfolio to the iGaming and sports betting operator in the Colombian market.
Betsoft’s partnership with Rivalo marks the supplier’s first foray into the regulated online gaming market of Colombia.
News about the provider’s Colombian debut come on the heels of its recent announcement that it has successfully passed an ISMS Audit that authorized it to deliver its content to Colombia-licensed online gambling operators.
Based in Malta, Betsoft specializes in the development and delivery of RNG gaming titles for the international online casino industry. Its portfolio includes more than 190 games that have proven track record for attracting, engaging, and retaining players.
It is part of Betsoft’s growth strategy to constantly expand its presence across new and existing regulated markets. Its content library is currently available in more than 15 regulated markets, with Colombia being the latest.
Commenting on their Colombian entry and their partnership with Rivalo, Francesca Raniolo, Sales Executive at Betsoft, said that the Latin American region “is a hugely exciting opportunity” for them and that they “take new business markets very seriously, hence our commitment to regulation and compliance.”
Ms. Raniolo added that they are pleased to have the opportunity to build a successful relationship with a “professional and well-respected operator such as Rivalo.”
Rivalo’s Colombian Expansion
The partnership with Betsoft will help Rivalo diversify its Colombian offering and further cement its presence in that important market. The operator first entered Colombia in 2018 when it was awarded an online sports betting license by the nation’s gambling regulator Coljuegos.
The operator recently obtained a license to provide online casino-style games to Colombian gamblers.
Rivalo is particularly focused on expanding across Latin American markets. The company says Colombia is its second biggest market behind only Brazil. Rivalo has based one of its global sportsbook management offices namely in Colombia.
The operator is one of 18 online gambling companies to have been licensed by Coljuegos following the reorganization of Colombia’s gambling market a few years ago.
Commenting on the addition of Betsoft content to its Colombia-focused offering, Alvaro Jose Mosquera, Country Manager at Rivalo, said that “now more than ever, having a great offering of casino games, will be the determinant factor for customer acquisition and retention.”
He went on that being one of the 18 locally licensed operators it is “critical for us to work with providers who more than meet the requirements set by our regulator, so we are delighted to integrate Betsoft’s game offering into Colombia.”
Earlier this year, Rivalo announced a similar partnership with Spanish iGaming content provider MGA Games. The move enabled the operator to go live with the studio’s portfolio of titles and thus spearhead its expansion into Colombia’s online casino space.
