Alchemy Gaming Joins Microgaming’s Network of Indie Casino Game Builders

Microgaming’s network of indie game studios has recently welcomed its latest member – Alchemy Gaming, the Isle of Man-based online casino content provider announced Tuesday.
Alchemy Gaming has become the tenth game builder to join Microgaming’s club of creators of exclusive gaming titles for its network of online gambling operators and their millions of players.
While Alchemy Gaming is a young game development studio, its team includes industry experts who bring in a wealth of experience and creative ideas that will soon materialize as the global online gambling market craves innovative content.
Presenting the newly formed studio, Microgaming said Tuesday that it would place mathematics at its core and that its mission would be to “create the gold standard in gaming experiences.” The Alchemy Gaming team would also focus its efforts on “novel mechanics, visuals, and features” in a bid to “infuse even more diversity and innovation” into Microgaming’s ever-growing casino games portfolio.
Alchemy Gaming’s addition to Microgaming’s roster of independent game builders followed separate announcements from recent months that Neon Valley Studios and Gameburger Studios have joined that elite club, which now has a total of ten members.
First Release to Hit the Market in Q1 2020
Microgaming also revealed the name of the first game to be released by Alchemy Gaming. The Wheel of Wishes slot will be rolled out in the first quarter of 2020 exclusively across Microgaming’s network of online casino operators.
Alchemy Gaming’s debut slot is inspired by the famous Arabian Nights tales and introduces a revamped progressive jackpot to join Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, which has paid out more than €1 billion in winnings since its inception all the way back in 1999. Wheel of Wishes includes a WowPot and a number of other exciting features with great win potential.
Those attending SiGMA 2019 in Malta between November 27-29 will be able to catch a glimpse of Wheel of Wishes as it will set the backdrop for Microgaming’s exhibit at the major international iGaming expo.
Commenting on the addition of Alchemy Gaming to their cluster of independent game development studios, Microgaming CEO John Coleman said that this new game builder is set to “add a quirky edge to our portfolio.”
The provider’s boss added that Alchemy Gaming “adopts a scientific approach to game development” and its team is busy crafting “some brilliant features and visually impactful artwork.”
Rory Harpur, Head of Alchemy Gaming, said that they have a wealth of collective experience in the iGaming industry and they understand slots and players and what “drives excitement and anticipation in games.”
Mr. Harpur went on that it will be their mission create “a polished audiovisual experience that fully supports our game features.”
